Ms. Ruthie's Doing It was birthed out of the heart and mind of George and Ruthie Johnson. They wanted a business legacy that could showcase their love for food, elegancy and God. It began with a spatula and a prayer in our home. Our father having the hand to make the most delicious food and our mother having the eye for exquisite detail. Together they made the most beautiful creations. They passed down both talents to their daughters. In recent years it has been passed down to the "Johnson Girls". This is when Ms. Ruthie's Doing It Bakery Boutique and Tea Shop was created. It has changed from food into just desserts and dessert tables that hold the same delicious flavor and exquisite elegance. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, our eye for beauty and giving our customers a wonderful experience not just great dessert. When launching Ms. Ruthie's Doing It brick and mortar home we stood on the scripture Habakkuk 2:2-3 "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait on it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." God is the foundation of our business. He is the leader we are only the hands and feet. We have dedicated our lives to creating delicious desserts that feel like a divine hug and brings joy with every bite.
